Promoting My Brute on Twitter
As I mentioned in my post How to get more My Brute Pupils, Twitter is a great place to promote your My Brute link to get more pupils. How exactly should you go about promoting My Brute on Twitter though? Well, one way that I use that seems to be working pretty well is by linking to my recent My Brute battles.
Linking to recent My Brute battles
I have been using this technique of promotion on Twitter since I joined My Brute. My Brute battles are cool and people will find them interesting. Take advantage of that!
If you have a good fight against your opponent post a link to it on your Twitter.
Finding the recent battle links
You can get links to your recent battles on your My Brute cellule page. They are on the right side of the page (sometimes referred to as your battle history) and will look something like the image on the left. If you click on any of the links that say Your Brute has crushed… you will be taken to the archived battle video where you can watch your battle again. Simply post the link to that page on your Twitter any of your followers will be able to click it and watch it. The link is pretty long, but it should automatically be shortened by Twitter using Bit.ly. Of course, you can shorten it manually using whatever short URL service you prefer.
How does this help me get more pupils?
Your Twitter follower who clicked the link to watch your fight is obviously interested in My Brute, which is exactly the kind of person you are looking for. Now, if that person clicks on the My Brute header they will be taken to your challenge page (pupil page) and you are almost guaranteed they will create their character under you!
What else can I do?
While Twitter is a great place to promote your My Brute pupil link, you should know that if you constantly are posting links to your My Brute your followers may get annoyed by you and quit following you. Posting links to your fights should not be an issue with your followers, but constantly posting links like “PLEASE SIGN UP AT MY BRUTE” with your link will probably cause some to unfollow you, whether they play My Brute or not.
However, I have found that keeping my followers up to date with my My Brute stats (ranking, win ratio for the day, etc…) typically does not cause that much annoyance. You can always attach your My Brute link at the end in case the follower has never heard of MyBrute, which will help you get more pupils.
