Can I fight My Brutes with a lower level then me?

This question constantly pops up and from what I can tell it is not really covered anywhere on the My Brute site so I took it upon myself to find the answer.

Question
Can you fight My Brutes with a lower level than you and still earn experience?

Answer
YES!

But how much lower?
You are allowed to fight My Brute characters up to two (2) levels below you before you do not earn experience from it.  For example, if you are level ten you can fight anyone level nine or eight and still earn experience from the battle.  You can also fight anyone with a higher level than you and you’ll earn experience no matter what (two experience if you win and one experience if you lose). 

So, if you’re looking for a “for sure” win, try to find someone with a level or two lower than you to battle and if you’re feeling really brave go ahead and battle that guy five levels above you.

If you fight a brute at a lower lever than yourself, you only earn one experience point as opposed to the two points you get when fighting at your same level. Even if you lose a fight to a brute at the same level, you still earn one point.
So it seems like a better option to just fight at the same level.

tart, if you fight someone who is up to 2 levels lower than you AND WIN then you will still receive 2xp. If you lose you only get 1xp. However, as it says above, if you are level 3 and you fight a level 1 and win you will get 2xp for that win (just like if they were the same level as you).
